၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဧပြီလ ၉ ရက်၊ နေ့လယ်ပိုင်းတွင် ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတနိုင်ငံ၊ ဆိုးလ်မြို့တော်အစိုးရ (Seoul Metropolitan Government) ၏စီစဉ်မှုဖြင့် ကျင်းပသော Seoul Friendship Festival 2026 ဖွင့်ပွဲအခမ်းအနားသို့ ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/ သံအမတ်ကြီး ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာသံရုံးကလည်း ပြခန်းတစ်ခန်း ပါဝင်ပြသခဲ့ပါသည်။

Seoul Friendship Festival 2026 ဖွင့်ပွဲအခမ်းအနားတွင် Seoul Metropolitan City ၏ ဒုတိယမြို့တော်ဝန် Mr. Park Chan-gu က အဖွင့်အမှာစကားပြောကြားခဲ့ပြီး ပါဝင်ဆင်နွှဲသည့် သံရုံးများကိုယ်စား ဘရူနိုင်းဒါရုဆလမ်နိုင်ငံသံအမတ်ကြီး H.E. Pengiran Hajah Nooriyah binti Pengiran Haji Yussof က ဂုဏ်ပြုအမှတ်တရစကားပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။

အခမ်းအနားကို ဆိုးလ်မြို့ရှိ Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) တွင် နိုင်ငံပေါင်း (၇၂)နိုင်ငံမှ ပါဝင်ဆင်နွှဲခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး ယခုနှစ်သည် နှစ်(၃၀) ပြည့်ကာလနှင့် တိုက်ဆိုင်လျက် “30 Years with the World, Bridging Culture Together” ခေါင်းစဉ်ဖြင့် (၂) ရက်ကြာ ကျင်းပနေခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။ အစီအစဉ်များတွင် ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတနိုင်ငံ အခြေစိုက် သံရုံး များနှင့် အဖွဲ့အစည်းများမှ ပါဝင်ဆင်နွှဲနိုင်သည့် အစီအစဉ် (၁၂)မျိုး (World Cultural Performance Stage၊ World Busking၊ Embassy Zone၊ World City Cinema၊ World Food Zone၊ World Dessert Zone၊ World Video and Photo Exhibition၊ World Traditional Plan Zone နှင့် World Traditional Costume Zone) ပါဝင်ပြီး နိုင်ငံတကာယဉ်ကျေးမှုတင်ဆက် ပြသမှုများအဖြစ် အဖွဲ့ (၁၀)ဖွဲ့ (နိုင်ငံတကာမှ (၅) ဖွဲ့နှင့် သံရုံးနှင့်အဖွဲ့အစည်းများမှ (၅)ဖွဲ့) ပါဝင် ကြမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

Seoul Friendship Festival 2026 သည် ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတနိုင်ငံ၊ ဆိုးလ်မြို့၌ နှစ်စဉ် ကျင်းလျက်ရှိသော နိုင်ငံတကာယဉ်ကျေးမှုဆိုင်ရာပွဲတော်များအနက် အကြီးမားဆုံးသော ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဖလှယ်ခြင်း အစီအစဉ်တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပြီး ကိုရီးယားနိုင်ငံအခြေစိုက် သံရုံးများနှင့် အဖွဲ့အစည်းများက ၎င်းနိုင်ငံများ၏ ထူးခြားထင်ရှားသော ယဉ်ကျေးမှု၊ ရိုးရာဓလေ့၊ အက အလှများ၊ ဝတ်စားဆင်ယင်မှုများ၊ အနုပညာများ တင်ဆက်ပြသခြင်းများအပြင် နိုင်ငံအလိုက် ထူးခြားထင်ရှားသော နေရာဒေသများ၊ ရုပ်ရှင်၊ ဓါတ်ပုံမှတ်တမ်းများ၊ ဒေသထွက်ပစ္စည်းများ၊ အမှတ်တရပစ္စည်းများ၊ အစားအသောက်များကိုပါ ပြသရောင်းချခွင့်ပြုထားသဖြင့် နိုင်ငံတကာ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုကို တစ်နေရာတည်း လေ့လာသိရှိခွင့်၊ နိုင်ငံတကာမှ အစားအသောက်များကို လေ့လာမြည်းစမ်းခွင့် ရရှိသောပွဲလည်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါအခမ်းအနားမှတစ်ဆင့် နိုင်ငံတကာ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုများကို မြှင့်တင်ပေးနိုင်ခြင်း၊ ဆိုးလ်မြို့နှင့် နိုင်ငံခြားအသိုက်အဝန်းများအကြား ချစ်ကြည်ရင်းနှီးမှုများ ပိုမိုအားကောင်းလာစေခြင်း၊ ပြည်သူအခြေပြုသံတမန်ဆက်ဆံရေးကို အားပေးမြှင့်တင်နိုင်ခြင်း၊ နိုင်ငံတကာယဉ်ကျေးမှုများကို ကိုရီးယားနိုင်ငံသားများ လေ့လာခွင့် ရရှိခြင်းနှင့် ကိုရီးယားနိုင်ငံသို့ လာရောက်နေထိုင်သူများမှ ၎င်းတို့၏ အမျိုးသားလက္ခဏာများကို ပြသခွင့်ရရှိခြင်းစသည့် အကျိုးကျေးဇူးများလည်းရရှိကြောင်း တွေ့ရှိရပါသည်။ အဆိုပါ အခမ်းအနား၌ မြန်မာသံရုံးမှလည်း Embassy Zone ၌ မြန်မာ့ရိုးရာယဉ်ကျေးမှု အနုပညာ လက်ရာများကို ခင်းကျင်းပြသပြီး ယဉ်ကျေးမှုပစ္စည်းများနှင့် အမှတ်တရလက်ဆောင်ပစ္စည်း များကိုလည်း ပါဝင်ရောင်းချ၍ ဆင်နွှဲလျက်ရှိကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

Chargé d’Affaires a.i./ Ambassador Attends Seoul Friendship Festival 2026; Myanmar Embassy participates

Chargé d’Affaires a.i./ Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of Korea, H.E. U Myo Myint Maung, attended the Opening Ceremony of the Seoul Friendship Festival (SFF) 2026, organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, on the afternoon of 9 May 2026. The Myanmar Embassy also participated in the event by exhibiting a booth.

At the Opening Ceremony of Seoul Friendship Festival 2026, Mr. Park Chan-gu, Vice Mayor of Seoul Metropolitan City, delivered the opening remarks. H.E. Pengiran Hajah Nooriyah binti Pengiran Haji Yussof, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam, delivered congratulatory remarks on behalf of the participating embassies.

The festival was attended by participants from 72 embassies. Coinciding with the 30th Anniversary, this year’s festival was held for two days at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul under the theme “30 Years with the World, Bridging Culture Together”. The two-day program comprises 12 activities, including the World Cultural Performance Stage, World Busking, Embassy Zone, World City Cinema, World Food Zone, World Dessert Zone, World Video and Photo Exhibition, World Traditional Plan Zone, and World Traditional Costume Zone. Embassies and organizations based in the Republic of Korea are invited to take part in these activities. The Ten (10) groups -five (5) international groups and five (5) groups from embassies and organizations- will perform in international cultural performances.

The Seoul Friendship Festival 2026 is the largest annual cultural exchange program among the international cultural festivals held in Seoul, the Republic of Korea. Embassies and organizations based in Korea showcase their countries’ unique cultures, traditions, dances, costumes, and arts. Embassies may present distinctive places, films, photographs, and sell local products, souvenirs, and food from their respective countries. In addition, the festival offers a chance to experience international culture in one place and savor foods from around the world.

The event is expected to promote multicultural harmony, strengthen friendship between Seoul and foreign communities, support public diplomacy, introduce global cultures to Korean citizens, and allow foreign residents to showcase their national identities. During the festival, the Myanmar Embassy exhibited traditional cultural artworks in the Embassy Zone and sold cultural items and souvenirs.

Cho Hyun က ဆိုးလ်မြို့အခြေစိုက် အာဆီယံသံရုံးများမှ သံအမတ်ကြီးများအား ၎င်း၏ နေအိမ်တွင် ညစာဖြင့် တည်ခင်းဧည့်ခံခဲ့ရာ မြန်မာသံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/ သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးမျိုးမြင့်မောင် တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါညစာစားပွဲသို့ အာဆီယံ-ကိုရီးယားဗဟိုဌာန၊ အတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ် H.E. Kim Jae-shin လည်း တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

အဆိုပါတွေ့ဆုံညစာစားပွဲတွင် အာဆီယံနိုင်ငံများနှင့် ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတနိုင်ငံအကြား မိတ်ဖက်ဆက်ဆံရေးစတင်ခဲ့သည့် ၁၉၈၉ ခုနှစ်မှ စ၍ယနေ့အထိ ဖြစ်ပေါ်ပြောင်းလဲတိုးတက်မှု များနှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ခဲ့မှုများကို ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပြီး အနာဂတ်တွင် ဆက်လက်ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်မည့် အလားအလာများကိုလည်း ရင်းနှီးစွာအမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

Chargé d’Affaires a.i./ Ambassador Attends Dinner hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea for ASEAN Ambassadors

On the evening of 7 May 2026, Chargé d’Affaires a.i./Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of Korea, H.E. U Myo Myint Maung, attended a dinner hosted by H.E. Cho Hyun, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, for the Ambassadors of ASEAN member states based in Seoul at his residence, in Seoul. The dinner was also attended by Secretary-General of ASEAN-Korea Centre, H.E. Kim Jae-shin.

During the gathering, H.E. Cho Hyun and the ASEAN Ambassadors reviewed and discussed the developments and cooperation between ASEAN countries and the Republic of Korea since the establishment of their partnership in 1989. They also exchanged views on the prospects for continued cooperation in the future.
