ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/ သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးမျိုးမြင့်မောင် သည် ဆိုးလ်မြို့၊ The Western Josun Seoul ၌ ၁-၁၀-၂၀၂၆ ရက်နေ့၊ နံနက်ပိုင်း၌ ကျင်းပသော 4th Mekong-Korea International Water Forum သို့ ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတနိုင်ငံ၊ Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment ၏ ဖိတ်ကြားချက်အရ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါ ဖိုရမ်သို့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ စိုက်ပျိုးရေး၊ မွေးမြူရေးနှင့် ဆည်မြောင်းဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှ အမြဲတမ်းအတွင်းဝန် ဦးကျော်ဆွေလင်းဦးဆောင်သည့် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့လည်း တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါဖိုရမ်ကို “Climate Resilience through Digital Water Management in the Mekong Region” ခေါင်းစဉ်ဖြင့် ကျင်းပခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး အဆင့်မြင့်အရာရှိများ၏ ဆွေးနွေးပွဲများ၊ မဲခေါင်စီးပွားရေးဆိုင်ရာစကားဝိုင်း၊ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုမိတ်ဖက်များနှင့် ဆွေးနွေးပွဲများနှင့် ရေနှင့် သက်ဆိုင်သည့် နည်းပညာပြခန်းများ ပါဝင်ကြောင်းသိရှိရပါသည်။
အခမ်းအနားတွင် Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment (MCEE) ၏ First Vice Minister ဖြစ်သူ H.E. Mr. Hanseung Kum၊ Korea Water Resource Corporation (K-water) ၏ CEO ဖြစ်သူ Dr. Seogdae Yun၊ Mekong River Commission Secretariat (MRCs) ၏ CEO ဖြစ်သူ H.E. Ms. Busadee Santipitaks နှင့် Ban Ki-moon Foundation For a Better Future ၏ Chairman ဖြစ်သူ H.E. Mr. Kimoon Ban တို့က အမှာစကားပြောကြားခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
ဖွင့်ပွဲအခမ်းအနားအပြီးတွင် High-level Dialogue ဆွေးနွေးပွဲကို ဆက်လက်ကျင်းပခဲ့ရာ စိုက်ပျိုးရေး၊ မွေးမြူရေးနှင့်ဆည်မြောင်းဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ အမြဲတမ်းအတွင်းဝန် ဦးကျော်ဆွေလင်းက Panelist အဖြစ် ပါဝင်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါဆွေးနွေးပွဲအပြီးတွင် ရေနှင့်ပတ်သက်သော နည်းပညာဆိုင်ရာ ပြခန်းများကို လှည့်လည် ကြည့်ရှုခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ ၎င်းနောက် ဂုဏ်ပြုနေ့လယ်စာ စားပွဲကျင်းပရာ မြန်မာသံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/သံအမတ်ကြီးက အခြားသော မဲခေါင်နိုင်ငံများမှ သံအမတ်ကြီးများနှင့်အတူ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံကိုယ်စား ကျေးဇူးတင်စကားပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။
၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ်မှစတင်ခဲ့သော Mekong-Korea Water Forum သည် မဲခေါင်ဒေသတွင်း နိုင်ငံများနှင့်ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတနိုင်ငံတို့အကြား ရေနှင့်ပတ်သက်သော ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုများနှင့် ရေရှည်တည်တံ့သော ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုများအတွက် ဆွေးနွေးမှုစင်္ကြံအဖြစ် ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ယခုနှစ်ကျင်းပသော ဖိုရမ်သို့ မြန်မာသံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/ သံအမတ်ကြီးနှင့်အတူ ကမ္ဘောဒီးယား၊ လာအိုနှင့် ဩစတြေးလျသံအမတ်ကြီးများ၊ ထိုင်းနှင့် ဗီယက်နမ်သံရုံးတို့မှ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များ၊ မဲခေါင်နိုင်ငံများမှ ဘာသာရပ်ဆိုင်ရာကျွမ်းကျင်သူများနှင့် ရေနှင့်ပတ်သက် သော ဘာသာရပ်ဆိုင်ရာအဖွဲ့အစည်းများ၊ ကုမ္ပဏီများမှ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက် ခဲ့ကြောင်းသိရှိရပါသည်။
Chargé d’Affaires a.i./ Ambassador U Myo Myint Maung Attends the 4th Mekong-Korea International Water Forum

At the invitation of Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment of the Republic of Korea, U Myo Myint Maung, Chargé d’Affaires a.i./ Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of Korea, attended the 4th Mekong-Korea International Water Forum, held on the morning of October 1, 2026, at The Westin Josun Seoul. The delegation from Myanmar, led by U Kyaw Swe Linn, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, also attended.
The forum was convened under the theme “Climate Resilience through Digital Water Management in the Mekong Region” and featured a High-level Dialogue, a Development Partners Session, a Business Roundtable, and a Water Technology Exhibition.
Opening remarks at the event were delivered by H.E. Mr. Hanseung Kum, First Vice Minister of the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment (MCEE), Dr. Seogdae Yun, CEO of the Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water), H.E. Ms. Busadee Santipitaks, CEO of the Mekong River Commission Secretariat (MRCS), and H.E. Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Chairman of the Ban Ki-moon Foundation for a Better Future.
Following the opening ceremony, a High-level Dialogue was held, during which U Kyaw Swe Linn, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, participated as a panelist. Following the High-level Dialogue, participants toured technology exhibition booths related to water. Afterwards, an appreciation lunch was held. During the lunch, U Myo Myint Maung, Chargé d’Affaires a.i./ Ambassador of Myanmar, delivered remarks of thanks on behalf of Myanmar, together with other Ambassadors from the Mekong countries.
Established in 2022, the Mekong-Korea Water Forum has served as a vital platform for dialogue on water cooperation and sustainable development between Mekong region countries and the Republic of Korea. This year’s forum was attended by U Myo Myint Maung, Chargé d’Affaires a.i./ Ambassador of Myanmar, along with ambassadors from Cambodia, Laos, and Australia, as well as representatives from Thai and Viet Nam Embassy, experts from Mekong countries, and representatives from water-related organizations, and companies.
