ဆိုးလ်၊ ဩဂုတ် ၂၉
ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတနိုင်ငံ၊ ဆိုးလ်မြို့ရှိ HOBY Korea ၏အစီအစဉ်ဖြင့် Seoul Venture University ၌ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဩဂုတ်လ ၂၉ ရက်တွင် ကျင်းပခဲ့သော ၃၂ ကြိမ်မြောက် ကမ္ဘာလုံးဆိုင်ရာ လူငယ်သံတမန် ရေးရာဖိုရမ် (32nd Diplomatic International Forum of Seoul – DIFOS) သို့ မြန်မာသံရုံး၊ဆိုးလ်မြို့၏ သံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/ မြန်မာ သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးမျိုးမြင့်မောင် တက်ရောက်၍ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့်ပတ်သက်သည့်အကြောင်းအရာများကို ဆွေးနွေးပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။
ထိုသို့ဆွေးနွေးရာတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ပထဝီအနေအထား၊ သမိုင်းကြောင်း၊ ယဉ်ကျေးမှု နှင့် ရိုးရာဓလေ့များ၊ သဘာဝအလှအပများ၊ လူမှုဘဝနှင့် စီးပွားရေးဆိုင်ရာ အခြေအနေများ၊ နိုင်ငံတကာ နှင့်ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်နေမှုများ အပါအဝင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့် သက်ဆိုင်သည့် အကြောင်းအရာများကို “About Myanmar & the Bilateral Relationship between Myanmar and the Republic of Korea” ခေါင်းစဉ်ဖြင့် ဆွေးနွေးပေးခဲ့ပြီး၊ အသက် ၁၁ နှစ်မှ ၁၈ နှစ် အတွင်းရှိ ဆိုးလ်မြို့ရှိ International School အသီးသီး၌ တက်ရောက်ပညာသင်ကြားနေကြသော ကျောင်းသား၊ ကျောင်းသူ စုစုပေါင်း ၃၀ ခန့် တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြသည်။ ဆွေးနွးမှုအပြီးတွင် တက်ရောက်လာကြသည့် ကျောင်းသား၊ ကျောင်းသူများက မြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့်ပတ်သက်သည့် အကြောင်းအရာများကို စိတ်ဝင်စားစွာ မေးမြန်းခဲ့မှုအပေါ် ပြန်လည် ဖြေကြားခဲ့ပြီး ရင်းနှီးစွာ အပြန်အလှန် ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
အစီအစဉ်ကို ကြီးမှူးကျင်းပသည့် HOBY Korea သည် အမေရိကန်ပြည်ထောင်စု၌ ၁၉၅၈ ခုနှစ်တွင် စတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့သည့် Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Foundation (HOBY) ၏ ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ သီးသန့် မိတ်ဖက်အဖွဲ့အစည်းဖြစ်ပြီး ၂၀၀၃ ခုနှစ်မှစတင်၍ လူငယ်ခေါင်း ဆောင်မှုဖွံ့ဖြိုးရေး၊ စေတနာ့ဝန်ထမ်း စိတ်ဓာတ်နှင့် ကမ္ဘာ့နိုင်ငံသားအဖြစ် တာဝန်ယူမှုတို့ မြှင့်တင်ပေး နိုင်ရန် ရည်ရွယ်သည့် အစီအစဉ်များကို တောင်ကိုရီးယားနိုင်ငံတွင် အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ဆောင်ရွက် လျက်ရှိကြောင်း သိရှိရသည်။ World Leadership Congress (WLC)၊ Global Youth Academic Research Enrichment Program (GYAREP) နှင့် International Young Scholars Conference စသည့် နိုင်ငံတကာအဆင့် လူငယ်ခေါင်းဆောင်မှုနှင့် ပညာရပ်ဆိုင်ရာ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေး အစီအစဉ်များကို လည်းဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိကြောင်း သိရသည်။ အဆိုပါ အစီအစဉ်များအနက် ယခု ဆောင်ရွက်သည့်ဖိုရမ် သည် နိုင်ငံအလိုက် အသိပညာမျှဝေပေးသည့်အစီအစဉ်တွင်ပါဝင်ပြီး ဆိုးလ်အခြေစိုက် သံရုံးများနှင့် နိုင်ငံတကာ အဖွဲ့အစည်းများမှ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များကို ဖိတ်ကြား၍ နိုင်ငံအလိုက် အသိပညာနှင့် နိုင်ငံ တကာရေးရာ ဆိုင်ရာအကြောင်းအရာများကို လူငယ်များအား မျှဝေပေးခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
HOBY Korea အနေဖြင့် နိုင်ငံအလိုက်အသိပညာမျှဝေပေးသည့် ယခုအစီအစဉ်ကို ၂၀၀၉ ခုနှစ် ကပင် စတင်ခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရှိရပြီး၊ မြန်မာသံရုံးအနေဖြင့် ပထမဆုံးအကြိမ်အဖြစ် ပါဝင်ဆောင်ရွက် ခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ယခုအစီအစဉ်မှတစ်ဆင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ယဉ်ကျေးမှု၊ သမိုင်းကြောင်းနှင့် လူမှုစီးပွားရေး ဆိုင်ရာ အခြေအနေများကို ကိုရီးယားလူငယ်များ ပိုမိုသိရှိနားလည်လာစေရန်နှင့် မြန်မာ-ကိုရီးယား လူငယ်များအကြား အပြန်အလှန်နားလည်မှု၊ ချစ်ကြည်ရင်းနှီးမှုနှင့် ပြည်သူအချင်းချင်း ဆက်ဆံရေး (People-to-People Relations) ပိုမိုခိုင်မာတိုးတက်လာစေရန်လည်း တစ်ဖက်တစ်လမ်းမှ အထောက် အကူပြုနိုင်ခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရှိရသည်။
Myanmar Chargé d’Affaires a.i./Ambassador Discusses Myanmar at HOBY Korea’s 32nd Diplomatic International Forum of Seoul (DIFOS) at Seoul Venture University

Mr. Myo Myint Maung, Chargé d’Affaires a.i./Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Seoul, participated in the 32nd Diplomatic International Forum of Seoul (DIFOS) organized by HOBY Korea and held at Seoul Venture University in Seoul, Republic of Korea, on August 29, 2026, where he delivered a presentation and discussion on Myanmar.
Under the theme “About Myanmar & the Bilateral Relationship between Myanmar and the Republic of Korea,” Ambassador Mr. Myo Myint Maung shared information on various aspects of Myanmar, including its geographical location, history, culture and traditions, natural beauty, social and economic conditions, and its cooperation with the international community. Approximately 30 students, aged between 11 and 18, from various international schools in Seoul attended the forum.
Following the presentation, the participating students showed keen interest in Myanmar and actively raised questions on various topics concerning the country. The Ambassador responded to their questions and engaged in an open and friendly exchange of views with the students.
HOBY Korea, the organizer of the forum, is the exclusive partner organization of the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Foundation (HOBY) in the Republic of Korea, which was founded in the United States in 1958. Since 2003, HOBY Korea has been implementing programs in the Republic of Korea aimed at fostering youth leadership, volunteerism, and a sense of responsibility as global citizens. It also organizes international youth leadership and academic development programs, including the World Leadership Congress (WLC), Global Youth Academic Research Enrichment Program (GYAREP), and International Young Scholars Conference.
The forum is part of HOBY Korea’s country-focused knowledge-sharing program, which invites representatives from embassies and international organizations based in Seoul to share knowledge about their respective countries and international affairs with young people. HOBY Korea has reportedly been conducting this country-focused knowledge-sharing program since 2009, and the participation of the Myanmar Embassy in the program this year marked the first time the Embassy had taken part.
Through this program, the Myanmar Embassy contributed to enhancing Korean youths’ knowledge and understanding of Myanmar’s culture, history, and socio-economic conditions, while also supporting greater mutual understanding, friendship, and people-to-people relations between the youth of Myanmar and the Republic of Korea.
