မြန်မာသံရုံး၊ ဆိုးလ်မှ သံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးမျိုးမြင့်မောင်သည် မြန်မာ စစ်သံမှူး (ကြည်း၊ ရေ၊ လေ) ဗိုလ်မှူးချုပ် ဝင့်သူနှင့်အတူ ၁၄-၇-၂၀၂၆ ရက်နေ့၊ နံနက်ပိုင်းတွင် ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတနိုင်ငံ၊ ဆယ်ဂျုံးမြို့ရှိ S.J.Bio စက်ရုံသို့ သွားရောက်လေ့လာခဲ့ပြီး အဆိုပါ စက်ရုံတွင် လုပ်ကိုင်နေကြသည့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသား(၅၀)ကျော်အား လုပ်ငန်းခွင်တွင် သွားရောက် တွေ့ဆုံကာ နေ့လည်စာအတူ စားသောက်ခဲ့ကြသည်။

Chargé d’Affaires a.i./ Ambassador and Military Attaché Visit S.J. Bio Co., Ltd. Factory to Meet and Encourage Myanmar Workers

U Myo Myint Maung, Chargé d’Affaires a.i./ Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of Korea, accompanied by Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy, Air Forces) Brigadier General Wint Thu, visited the S.J. Bio factory in Sejong City, Republic of Korea, on the morning of July 14, 2026. The delegation met with more than 50 Myanmar nationals working at the factory and ate lunch together.
Mr. Shin Hang-cheol, CEO of S.J. Bio Co., Ltd., welcomed the Chargé d’Affaires a.i./ Ambassador and his delegation and conducted a briefing on the current function of the company, followed by a tour of the factory to explain its production.
During lunch with the Myanmar workers at the factory, the Chargé d’Affaires a.i./ Ambassador highlighted that the gathering—bringing together the Embassy of Myanmar, the office of the Military Attaché, and the Myanmar workers—reflected unity and solidarity among all parties. Noting that the Chargé d’Affaires a.i./ Ambassador routinely engages with Myanmar workers upon their arrival in Korea, he reaffirmed that the Embassy also provides assistance with workers’ personal and work site’s affaires. Observing the work environment, he expressed that employees are genuinely valued. He noted the CEO’s remarks on the diligence, aptitude for learning, and discipline of Myanmar workers and underscored that Myanmar workers’ strong reputation continues to be recognized, and the company intends to recruit additional Myanmar nationals as part of its ongoing business expansion. He urged workers to prioritize health and safety, comply with the laws of both countries, maintain regular communication with families in Myanmar, and regard the Embassy as a “second family” to turn to whenever needed.
Following the discussion, the CEO presented recognition awards to three outstanding Myanmar employees and then, Myanmar Ambassador presented Myanmar’s food to the workers, which were kindly provided by the families of the Embassy of Myanmar and the office of the Military Attaché.
S.J. Bio Company has exported cosmetics to Japan and the United States since 2024, with current export volumes strongest to China and Japan. The company also aims to position Myanmar as a key hub for its entry into the wider Asian market. As the second-largest manufacturer of products for Kolmar- Korea’s leading cosmetics manufacture- and a producers and distributors of its own brands. S.J. Bio Co., Ltd. began manufacturing face masks in 2020 and donated masks, worth approximately 100 million won to Myanmar during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The factory currently employs more than 50 Myanmar workers and intends to hire additional staff. Workers’ benefits are being addressed in accordance with prevailing labour laws.
